About VOW
VOW or Virtual Office Web Site, is the new method of delivering
information on the Internet.
The difference between a VOW and an IDX solution are the rules
governing them. With an IDX solution, the Realtor is bound
by the rules of the MLS for the delivery of the content. There
are a completely different set of rules that must be followed.
A VOW allows a brokerage to display MLS information as if
the client is within their traditional office environment,
as if the listing were their own. Its not as simple as that
though, a user must be established, presented the agency disclosure
statement, and issued a username/password to signify that
they are a client with sincere intent to purchase.
